The FDX-008W is a Fan Damper Control Module designed for compatible Mircom fire alarm control and annunciation systems. It provides a dedicated operator interface for monitoring and controlling fan and damper functions associated with building fire safety systems.
The FDX-008W features 8 three-position slide switches, each marked ON, OFF, and AUTO, allowing operators to select the desired operating mode for configured fan or damper functions.
The module includes 8 green ON/OPEN LED indicators to show when the associated fan or damper is on or open, along with 8 amber OFF/CLOSED LED indicators to indicate when the corresponding function is off or closed. These visual indicators help operators quickly identify the operating status of connected equipment.
The FDX-008W mounts with the Main Control Unit or can be installed in compatible BB-1000 Series and BB-5000 Series enclosures when used with a Remote Shared Display.
Important: Intelligent control relays and monitor modules are not included and must be ordered separately to provide the required equipment control and monitoring interfaces.
